Our Story & Leadership
Tyler Cox, Founder & Owner
Tyler Cox is the founder and owner of Palmetto’s Finest Landscapes, built on a foundation of hard work, integrity, and a genuine passion for creating outdoor spaces that serve people well. A graduate of Clemson University, Tyler holds a Bachelor of Science in Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Management, a background that blends land stewardship, design, and thoughtful planning.
Tyler’s journey into the landscape industry began early. At just 14 years old, he started working for local landscape contractors in his community to help support his family during the recession. As the oldest of six children, he quickly learned the value of responsibility, perseverance, and doing whatever it takes to get through challenging seasons of life. Those early experiences shaped both his work ethic and his approach to business.
